I-5 between Portland and Seattle, Washington.
I got some good work done today, but not much. I couldn't keep my mind off
mucking around with the GPS real-time uploading of data. Took about an
hour of dorking around to get it going.
What you need to do is download
gpsdrive
Then download gpsdweb.
Run "gpsdweb &", then run "gpsdrive". Click on "Download map", and
click on the "Download map" button in the dialog. Wait for the map to
download. You'll now see where I am, updated every 5 seconds.
The cam and the GPS aren't available at the same time. Which isn't so bad,
as it's rainy and the camera doesn't work well then... The USB cam I got
last night doesn't work under Linux. Sigh.
