That Unexpected Extra.

So, here I am at DefCon. I came because I've never been and wanted to see what it's like. Another geek community to check out. I've kind of come to the conclusion recently that my main purpose going to a conference is to interact with the people. I've only orthogonal interest in going to the presentations. To some extent, at least.

It's been made harder because they have seating for 1900 here at DefCon, while they actually have over 4,000 attendees. It's been hard to get in to see them. They're piping the video to the hotel cable system, so you can watch the talks in your room, if you are staying here. That actually works pretty well, but we aren't staying here.

Today, while I was chilling with the group here, a talk came on that was totally relavent to some work that we've recently agreed to do for one of our clients. They had some good information.
