Nat, Beerfest, Photos around Fort Collins, LBK and his candle.
We ran into Nat the other day at the Moxie. Terrible picture, though.
A picture taken outside of Pizza Casbah Friday while we were having
dinner there. I think Pizza Casbah has the best slice in Fort Collins, and
at $2.50 for a slice as big as your head, you can hardly go wrong.
A photo inside the Opera Galeria this Saturday.
They were having this Brewfest this weekend, so oldtown was packed.
This is the old fire house/jail.
Naked fries... How deliciously naughty, baby.
A shot of oldtown square. It wasn't quite as packed as the street,
because there weren't any kiosks for getting beer here.
Alcohol and tattoos. Two great tastes that go great together.
There's free WiFi covering this whole area, and nobody with a laptop
to be seen. If you know where to look, you can even see the access point
serving this area.
"Hi, my name is LBK and I'm adicted to huffing candles."
"Find your own candle!"
I was reading this book that recommended that you use shallow, wide
dishes because cats didn't like sticking their muzzle into things. Yeah,
right.
"Just one more hit!"
Blunchfast today at Big City Burrito. It seems like the line is
always out the door any more, but they move people through pretty quickly.
The street outside Big City Burrito. I kind of take it for granted
that there are so many trees in Fort Collins, but you don't often see
streets with so many trees as you do here in Fort Collins. They apparently
have a law about it. About a decade ago, some head honcho from Furr's
Cafeteria came in and said that the big, huge trees along the street in
front had to be cut down because they were preventing people from seeing
the restaurant. These were big, huge trees that had been there forever.
So, they cut them down, then the city came by and said "Hey, you can't do
that, you have to put new trees there." Furr's closed shortly after that
and never replaced the trees.
